Answers to frequently asked questions.

What is the difference between natural stone and quartz?

Natural stone is quarried directly from the earth by block, it undergoes a finishing process of slab cutting and face polishing before being shipped to stone distributors. The character of natural stone is unique and one of a kind.

Quartz is comprised of 90-93% crushed natural quartz, plus pigments and polymer resin binders. Since it is hand made by man using color formulas each slab has an identical design.

How often should I seal my granite?

All natural stone must be sealed with an impregnating sealant. Stoneway Marble is an authorized dealer of Stain-Proof™ a 15 year premium impregnating sealer.

Do I need to make an appointment to view slabs?
